Adam offers the perfect choice for gardening groups, ladies groups,  WI's, U3A's ect. Talks are all accompanied by digital slideshow, some recorded music, poetry and plenty of humour.

             Talks Adam currently has available:

'Duck Pools - A garden divided'

This talk is the ideal for Adam's first visit as it offers an introduction to both the garden and allotments. As with all Adam's talks there may be the odd bit of poetry thrown in and certainly plenty of humour. Hear about Monty serenading the goldfish or the neighbour who bared all to turn their tomatoes! There's plenty of colourful and unusual plants illustrated throughout the talk from Adam's photographic diary. Audiences always have a good laugh with this talk and are left wanting more...

  Plant Portraits

A talk aimed at both gardeners and non-gardeners. The talk starts at the Midland alpine show and features some of the superb exhibits on show. Then the talk progresses through the year showcasing some of the beautiful and, at times, uncommon plants Adam grows or has encountered on his travels. There are plenty of ideas for what plants to grow in pots throughout this talk. The talk culminates with a slideshow of plants for winter interest played to music which always goes down well. As usual expect humour and some bouts of poetry!

Fall into Winter

A look at two of the most magical seasons in the garden and a some of the plants we can grow for providing interest during that time. Not only flowers but foliage, bark and berries. Again, filled with laughter and humourous poetry, audiences have enjoyed this talk which charts the slow progress from the rich fruitfulness of Autumn to the crisp, stillness of Winter. Everything from structural shrubs to towering trees, snaking through the snowdrops to hankering over Hellebores. Plenty of photos from Adam's garden at Duck Pools and also from John Massey's canalside garden at Ashwood's nursery.
